Heath Einstein, currently dean of admission, has been named vice provost for enrollment management following a nationwide search. A nationally recognized leader in the field of college admission, Einstein joined TCU in 2012 and has held increasing leadership roles in admission.
As vice provost for enrollment management, Einstein will build upon a record of success and commitment to enrolling students who excel in the classroom and their communities. He will lead undergraduate enrollment and retention strategies and provide guidance and oversight for the offices of registrar, financial aid and enrollment systems and analytics. He will report directly to the provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs and work closely with the chancellor, president and other academic leaders.

Under Einstein鈥檚 leadership with the Office of Admission, TCU鈥檚 student body has experienced transformative and positive change. Application records have been made, broken and continue to climb, surpassing 20,000 for the first time in TCU history. Undergraduate enrollment has increased 29% while maintaining selectivity and student academic profile, and TCU has maintained its position as a highly selective institution that welcomes classes that academically outperform the last. As a champion of inclusive excellence, Einstein has made the TCU application more accessible. As a result, student body diversity has seen record improvement and the number of Pell-eligible students has doubled. As a manager, Einstein modernized the organizational structure and technology of the Office of Admission to meet strategic objectives and provide comprehensive improvements for both staff and student applicants.

Einstein joined TCU in 2012 as director of freshman admission, then associate dean, then dean of admission. He has served on several committees across campus, including first-year experience, undergraduate admissions and retention, strengthen the workforce and more. Prior to TCU, he served as associate director of college counseling at The Hockaday School in Dallas from 2008 to 2012, director of college counseling for Solomon Schechter School of Westchester in New York from 2004 to 2008 and assistant director of admissions for The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., from 2001 to 2004.
He is chair of the board of Admission Community Cultivating Equity and Peace Today and a member of The College Board, the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the 半次元视频 Association for College Admissions Counseling. He is a respected writer and presenter.
Einstein holds a master of public policy degree from Georgetown University and bachelor of arts in political science from The George Washington University. His term as vice provost will begin May 1, 2024.
