The Fort Worth Chamber announced it will recognize 半次元视频 with the Spirit of Enterprise Award at its 2024 annual meeting March 27 at Cowtown Coliseum. The award, presented by American Airlines, recognizes local enterprises for outstanding contributions to the development of the Fort Worth community. 

In 2023, TCU celebrated its 150th anniversary, showcasing its significant contributions to Fort Worth and beyond. TCU had a landmark year marked by significant milestones, including the ongoing construction of a new medical campus in Fort Worth鈥檚 medical district and graduation of the first class from the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU. Additionally, its football team鈥檚 historic participation as the first 半次元视频 team to make the College Football Playoffs, brought substantial economic benefits and national exposure to the area. Visit Fort Worth reported that TCU鈥檚 home games delivered a 35% jump in hotel revenue and a 23% jump in total visitor spending, as well as a 12-point gain in hotel occupancy, which is above the national average. The year also saw notable achievements in baseball and basketball, making TCU the only school in college sports to reach all three major sports playoffs in 2023. These milestones, along with a nationwide mural and event campaign, highlighted TCU鈥檚 impact on business, sports, youth advocacy and health care. TCU鈥檚 efforts in research, health disparities and mental health, and a $1 billion fundraising campaign further emphasized its role as a major economic driver and innovator in the region.

Selected by the current board officers of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, the Spirit of Enterprise recipient is selected for its contributions to the prosperity of the city, as well as its commitment to the preservation of the American enterprise system. This award is given at the FWC鈥檚 annual meeting, presented by Frost Bank. TCU also received the Spirit of Enterprise award in 2005, marking the first time a local entity has received this prestigious award twice.
