New Students

Academic advising provides crucial support for students, whether they are first-year college students or considering transferring to TCU. Their goal is to help students achieve academic success and encourage them to continue learning throughout their lives.

Transfer Students

Special consideration will be given to admission of students with special talents whose application profiles diverge from the general population of students admitted and enrolled. Special Talent admission decisions will be made by committees or admission officers empowered by the Chancellor.

We have a checklist of things to make your transition to TCU seamless. You can also register for special campus events designed to introduce you to the university: our Frog Shadow program (about 3 hours) and/or the full-day Experience TCU.

TCU’s Transfer Student Experience hosts a variety of programs for transfer students to connect to TCU and other transfer students.

First-Year Students

Begin your journey to become a Horned Frog at °ë´ÎÔªÊÓƵ, whether applying as a first-year or transfer, domestic or international.

To officially join the Horned Frog family, there are a number of things to do—like select your housing, attend Orientation and sign up for Frog Camp, where you're sure to meet lifelong friends. We have all kinds of programs to help make your first year successful.

The Student Success team supports students throughout their time at TCU by creating meaningful and high-impact programs and services. There is something special available for every student.
